Suzie’s Farm

Last year we decided to get on board with the CSA program at Suzie’s Farm, and we have been absolutely delighted with the quality and selection of fresh veggies and fruits.

When I was a kid on the farm, my family always ate seasonal foods (that we grew) and so I’m pretty pleased to be eating seasonally again. It really makes you appreciate new foods that you would not typically explore and cook with.  So, we’re trying things like Sorrel – a new food to me – in a cream sauce with fresh farmer’s market mushrooms, and handmade pasta—yum.  I’ll be posting pics and favorite recipes for new foods as we explore this summer’s fare.
